Camp Details
All GSOTA Camps run from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Campers are to bring their own lunches and snacks from home (cooking camps are the only exception to this). Wednesday is Pizza Day at our camps, but we do not have lunches for purchase otherwise. We sell snacks from our 'Tuck Shop' daily.
Friday afternoons are a Splash Pad & Movie/Popcorn event for all camps. On Friday afternoons, campers will get the chance to get into their swim gear and play in the water feature across the street from the centre, and to watch a movie & purchase popcorn if they would like to. This is a fun celebration of a fun, artistic & educational week and our favourite way to bring camp to a close.
All our summer camps are led by our amazing team of professional arts facilitators! We have wonderful additional summer staff who assist in our camps, but there are fully trained and experienced arts facilitators planning and executing our summer camp experiences. We are so proud of our facilitators and all they are able to bring to GSOTA campers each and every week!

Let's Put On A Show!
Let's Put On A Show! is our month-long theatre camp, culminating in a full production that your little actors will put on for their fellow campers, and an evening performance for family and friends! This camp allows it's participants to bond, grow, learn, step out of their comfort zones and into the spotlight. Campers will be included in character development, be expected to learn their lines and staging, and assist with props, costumes and set design. This is a unique experience, and SO. MUCH. FUN! A performance of their production will take place on Thursday July 23rd at 7:00pm for all family and friends to come and see! They will perform again for their fellow campers on Friday July 24th (last day of camp) followed by a cast party to celebrate all of their hard work.
Grades 1-8: June 29th - July 24th, 2026 (camps are OPEN for Canada Day)
This Camp is $975.00 per student for four weeks. This includes all supplies, costumes and materials. This camp is not available for weekly registration, you must sign up for the whole month.
Main Character Energy
Main Character Energy is a week-long theatre camp available for grades 1-4 & grades 5-8. Campers will explore character-building and storytelling and come up with their own crazy cast of characters. From perfect protagonists to verifiable villains!
Grades 1-4: July 27th - July 31st, 2026
Grades 5-8: August 3rd - 7th, 2026 (camps are OPEN for the Civic Holiday)
This camp is $300 per student for one entire week. This includes all supplies and materials. This camp is not available for single day registration, you must sign up for the whole week.
Improvisers Assemble!
This is a playful, confidence-building experience where kids become heroes and let their imaginations soar. Through improv games, storytelling, movement and character creation, campers discover their own unique superpowers - creativity, teamwork, quick thinking and courage.
Grades 1-4: August 17th - 21st, 2026
Grades 5-8: August 10th - 14th, 2026
This camp is $300 per student for one entire week. This includes all supplies and materials. This camp is not available for single day registration, you must sign up for the whole week.
Drama Detectives
A high-energy, imaginative theatre camp where kids become performers AND problem solvers. Campers step into the role of Jr. Detectives, using drama skills to crack cases, uncover clues and bring mysterious stories to life. Each day blends acting games, improvisation, movement and voice work with puzzles, teamwork and storytelling. No acting experience needed, just imagination, curiosity and a love of fun! The case is open...can your detective crack it?
Grades 1-8: August 24th - 28th, 2026

Baking Bonanza
Whisks up! In Baking Bonanza, kids become junior bakers as they learn the basics of measuring, mixing and baking sweet AND savoury treats. From muffins to cookies, decorated desserts and even breads and pizzas - campers will build confidence in the kitchen all week. This will end with an exciting Friday Baking Challenge where creativity (and teamwork!) will take centre stage.

This camp is $300.00 per student for the weeklong camp with an additional $50.00 Culinary Supply Fee. With this extra $10 a day, we can ensure that we will have enough ingredients for your campers to cook up a storm for the whole week, and there will be no need to send them with lunch! They will be able to eat the food that they make right here at camp! This camp is not available for single day registration, you must sign up for the whole week.
Farm-to-Fork Adventure
In Farm-to-Fork adventure, kids explore where food comes from and how fresh ingredients turn into delicious meals. Campers will work with seasonal produce, learn about simple food preparation and cook wholesome, kid-friendly receipes while building confidence and curiosity in the kitchen.

Grades 5-8: July 13th - July 17th, 2026

Jr. Chef's in Charge!
In Jr. Chef's in Charge, campers take the lead from start to finish. Kids brainstorm ideas, vote on favourite dishes and help plan what they'll cook throughout the week. This hands-on camp builds independence, teamwork and real-life cooking skills - all while making food they're genuinely excited to cook and eat.

Around The World Art Adventures
Exploring new and exciting places, campers will take inspiration from different parts of the world to create masterpieces! Campers will explore various forms of visual arts including but not limited to painting, drawing, and sculpting.

Summer Splash Creations
What time is it? SUMMER TIME! There is no better time to celebrate the refreshing oceans, lakes, pools and splash pads that make summertime the very best! Campers will explore various forms of visual arts including but not limited to painting, drawing, and sculpting.

Magical Creatures
Who doesn't love a unicorn or a dragon!? Magical Creatures of all kinds will be the jumping off point for your little artists's creations in this week of camp. Campers will explore various forms of visual arts including but not limited to painting, drawing and sculpting.

Broadway Bound: Musical Theatre Stars
Does your little artist love to sing and dance? Campers will explore the exciting world of musical theatre during this fun week! The camp will be lead by a dance instructor from The Dance Workshop, with daily vocal lessons to integrate musical theatre based singing into the week. Any level of experience is welcome - the only pre-requisite is an interest in all the fun and excitement musical theatre has to offer!

Mini Maestros
This exciting week of camp will introduce your little artists to instruments and the joy of music! Campers will learn music fundamentals through games, crafts, and fantastic lessons! Any level of music experience is welcome, come join us for a fun week with other music-loving friends!

Mindful Movers
This enticing week of camp will introduce your little ones to the fundamentals of yoga! Campers will learn beginner yoga positions, but will also use imaginative play to explore the endless possibilities for their body's movement. Those comfortable will be encouraged to work on their headstands and some light tumbling as well! Any level of experience is welcome, come join us for a fun week with other yoga-loving friends!

Krafty Kids: Get Into Nature
Does your little artist love to explore nature?! This is the camp for them! Students will spend time outside and allow the nature around them to inspire different arts and crafts creations throughout the week! Art is all around us, and this is the perfect way to explore that concept.

Krafty Kids: Make Your Own
Based on our year-round workshops for students grades 1-8, this is a dynamic and exciting week for your young and crafty camper! Campers will get to try a variety of visual arts related crafts throughout the week, including clay creations and painting, basic sewing/ stuffy making and more!

Your little artist can try it all during our final week of camp! Our Taste of the Arts (TOTA) week allows campers to explore a different form of the arts with a new professional arts instructor every day. This is a great opportunity for your little artists to try something new. Come for the whole week, or sign up for individual days!
This year we are offering 2 TOTA Camp Weeks simultaneously! Both weeks will be the same experience, but campers will be doing their various kinds of art activies on differing days. TOTA Camp #1 and TOTA Camp #2 will be the same activities/ lessons, so we do not advise signing up for the same discipline twice (eg. Cooking from week 1 and week 2 will be the exact same recipe).
