GSOTA Children's Choir

Do you love to sing? There is no better way to sharpen your singing skills than to sing in a choir or group! Students will work on proper vocal technique and harmonization in this fun and inviting vocal space.

Our choir participated in the South Simcoe Arts Council's annual music festival in both 2023 and 2024. In 2024 we were honoured to receive the Overall Choir Award at the festival!

This year, the choir will be entering the music festival again, as well as performing in our end of year gala!

This choir is geared toward children in Grades 3-8.

We are offering Fall, Winter and Spring sessions (each 8 weeks in length) for this class. You can sign up for all 3 sessions and improve upon your new skills and participate in the Music Festival, or you can sign up for just the Fall session to try it out! In order to participate in the music festival, you must be enrolled in both the Winter and Spring sessions.

GSOTA Year-End Gala 2024

On Thursday May 22nd 2025 at 6:00pm, we invite all our students who participate in our SPRING sessions to gather with friends and family to display and present their works of art! There will be no admission fee, but a survey will be sent home close to the Gala date to gather an idea of how many people would like to attend. This event will start at 6:00pm sharp and will continue until approximately 7:30pm-8:00pm. More details for this event will be sent to all students participating in the Spring session.
