GSOTA Theatre Program: Semi-Private Monologue Session

CONGRATULATIONS to last season's actors who performed their monologues for adjudication in our local South Simcoe Music Festival! 4 of our talented actors were asked to move on to OMFA: Provincials and we look forward to updating you about their success after they've all performed in June!

Are you ready to take your acting skills to the next level? Sign up for this amazing opportunity to work on a specific piece with our fabulous Theatre Director Bri Thierman, and present it at our local Arts Festival for an adjudicator's feedback!

This is a class not to be missed if you have a young actor who wants to expand their horizons and gain some experience with individualized feedback and growth. Students will work on 2-3 monologues to enter into our local festival (South Simcoe Music Festival) and will get the chance to really dive into the specifics of building a character for a performance.

The performance/ festival date will be made available as soon as the local festival releases it, but it is likely to be mid-April, 2027.

This is a class for students in Grade 5 and up - teens very welcome! There will be no more than 2 students per class in order to give each actor the attention they need for their learning and preparation.

**Please note that time slots are not posted as we will do our very best to work with your schedules!**

Pricing

$250 per student plus the festival entry fee (approx $30.00), and purchase of the play/ book that their chosen monologue belongs to. Further fees and additional classes may apply if students choose to continue on to OMFA: Provincials.
