Teen Scenes is a class that has older students working on short scenes that will eventually be presented as a show!
In this extracurricular drama class for grades 9-12, students will have the opportunity to explore their creativity and emotions through the performance of one-act plays and short scenes that will be performed for an audience. The class provides a safe and supportive environment where teens can express themselves, develop their acting skills, and collaborate with their peers.
Each class will focus on the craft of acting, character development, and storytelling, while encouraging self-expression and emotional exploration. Whether you're new to acting or have experience on stage, this workshop is a space for personal growth, creative risk-taking, and building confidence through performance!
We are offering Fall (301), Winter (302) and Spring (303) sessions (each 8 weeks in length) for this class. You can sign up for all 3 sessions and improve upon your new skills, or you can sign up for any of the sessions individually.
Those who follow through to the Spring Session will be performing a series of short scenes for friends and family on Sunday April 12th at 7:00pm. Students in the class will be heavily involved in the choosing of scenes to perform and opportunity will be given to write scenes as well! Details will be provided closer to the show date for those enrolled!
**Important Dates to Note**
