GSOTA Vocal Ensemble: Broadway Bound 201-203

**CONGRATULATIONS to last year's Broadway Bound Vocal Ensemble, who entered into the South Simcoe Music Festival and secured a Silver and a Gold for their performances - we are so proud of you!**

Calling all musical theatre obsessed singers - this is the place for you! Our vocal director will be leading our ensemble in the direction of all things Broadway! If you love to sing, there is no better way to sharpen your singing skills than to sing in a choir or group! Students will work on proper vocal technique, harmonization and emoting through song in this fun and inviting vocal space.

We don't have pre-determined songs chosen to work toward, we want to hear from you in the first few weeks of class to see what would fit the group best - we want you to LOVE what you're singing and we want your feedback!

We would like to enter into the SSAC Music Festival again this season, which is an amazing opportunity for our singers to get invaluable feedback from a professional adjudicator and an extra chance to perform on stage!

This vocal ensemble is geared toward youth ages 9-16.

We are offering Fall (201), Winter (202) and Spring (203) sessions for this class. You can sign up for all 3 sessions and improve upon your new skills and participate in the Music Festival & Year-End Gala, or you can sign up for just the Fall session to try it out before committing to the whole season! Singers must be enrolled in both the Winter & Spring sessions in order to participate in performance opportunities.

You will note that the Winter 202 session is 2 weeks longer than the others and this is to accommodate extra rehearsals for the ensemble's music festival entries.

Pricing

The cost for one 8 week session (Fall and Spring) is: $175.00
The cost for one 10 weeks session (Winter) is: $220.00

There will be small additional fees during music festival season for festival entry and possibly accompaniment.

Discounts Available!

Ask about our discounts for siblings, multiple classes for the same child, or the best bang for your buck - sign up for the full year up front! If you sign up for Fall, you'll be getting a discount for Winter and Spring as well - each seasonal session counts as a 'multiple' class.

GSOTA Year-End Gala 2027

On Thursday May 13th at 6:00pm, we invite all our Spring Session students to gather with friends and family to display and present their prepared musical pieces! There will be no admission fee, but a survey will be sent home close to the Gala date to gather an idea of how many people would like to attend. This event will start at 6:00pm sharp and will continue until 7:00pm-8:00pm. More details for this event will be sent to all students participating in the Spring Session.
