GSOTA's Fall Theatre Production 2023 - Directed by Bri Thierman
An immersive theatrical experience that will find our young actors performing in a Fall Production at the end of the 10 week session. This is a program for students Grades 1 - 8.

Overview
This year we have divided our Fall Production into two age groups, Jr. and Intermediate. Both groups will be using the same set, but will be performing separate theatrical pieces that will compliment each other. We are SO excited to see what our young actors can do with this new challenge!
Throughout this 10 week program, students will have the opportunity to review and learn the fundamental skills of the stage through theory and games. Our young actors will be learning things like the history of theatre, improvisation and character work.
Jr. Company
For students Gr. 1 - 5
Rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
Actors will be given roles in a written play. They will be helping to create the set and some costume/ props that will be used for the play as well. A full production will be mounted at the end of this program. This is a truly immersive theatrical experience and it is always impressive what our actors can do when they hit the stage!
Intermediate Company
For students Grades 6-8
Rehearsals will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
Students will taking the written play that our Jr. company will be performing, and will be find a fun and exciting way to turn that story on it's head. Students will write an alternate version of the play to perform themselves. They will be helping to create the set and some costume/ props that will be used for the play as well. A full production will be mounted at the end of this program. This is a truly immersive theatrical experience and it is always impressive what our actors can do when they hit the stage!
These two theatrical pieces will be performed together as an Act 1 and Act 2.

The cost for the Fall Creative Production is: $600.00
Fall Theatre Production Dates
Friday November 24th, 2023 at 7:00pm
Sunday November 26th, 2023 at 2:00pm
Technical Rehearsal date is:
Saturday November 18th from 9:00am - 1:00pm
Cast Party date is:
Sunday November 26th after the performance at the Gibson Centre.
