An immersive theatrical experience that will find our young actors performing an adored Canadian classic - Directed by Bri Thierman. This 10 Week program is for students in Grades 1 - 8.

Overview
Throughout this 10 week program, students will have the opportunity to review and learn the fundamental skills of the stage through theory and games. Our young actors will be learning things like the history of theatre, improvisation, and character work.
Rehearsals will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00pm - 7:30pm.
Actors will spend the beginning of their 10 week program being cast in their roles and developing their characters. They will be helping to create the set and some props that will be used for the play as well.
All costumes will be sourced by the Gibson Centre with input from our young costume designers!
A full production will be mounted at the end of this program. This is a truly immersive theatrical experience and it is always impressive what our actors can do when they hit the stage!
Pricing
The cost for the Spring Theatre Production is: $700.

Rehearsals Begin:

TECH REHEARSAL:
Saturday April 25th, 2026 - 9:00am - 1:00pm
SHOWS:
Friday May 1st 2026 - Two Show Day: Matinee Time TBD and 7:00pm night show
Sunday May 3rd 2026 - 2:00pm
CAST PARTY:
Sunday, May 3rd, 2026 after the final performance at the Gibson Centre!
NO CLASS:
Monday February 16th (Family Day)
Monday March 16th & Wednesday March 18th (March Break)
Monday April 6th (Easter Monday)
