GSOTA's Spring Theatre Production 2025 - Directed by Bri Thierman
An immersive theatrical experience that will find our young actors performing a sweet treat of a play, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! This 10 Week program is for students in Grades 1 - 8.

Overview
Throughout this 10 week program, students will have the opportunity to review and learn the fundamental skills of the stage through theory and games. Our young actors will be learning things like the history of theatre, improvisation, and character work.
Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00pm - 7:30pm.
Actors will spend the beginning of their 10 week program being cast in their roles and developing their characters. They will be helping to create the set and some props that will be used for the play as well.
All costumes will be sourced by the Gibson Centre with input from our young costume designers!
A full production will be mounted at the end of this program. This is a truly immersive theatrical experience and it is always impressive what our actors can do when they hit the stage!
Pricing
The cost for the Spring Theatre Production is: $700.

Rehearsals Begin:

TECH REHEARSAL:
Saturday May 3rd, 2025 - 9:00am - 1:00pm
SHOWS:
Friday May 9th - 2 Show Day: Matinee Time TBD and 7:00pm night show
Sunday May 11th - 2:00pm
CAST PARTY:
Sunday, May 11th, 2025 after the final performance at the Gibson Centre!
NO CLASS:
Tuesday March 12th and Thursday March 14th for March Break.
