GSOTA Visual Arts Program: Next Level Arts 301-303

This is a wonderful class for any young artist who wants to take the next step in world of visual arts! Some projects are started every class, and some projects are slowly built over the course of the 8 week sessions. Media will vary (sketch, watercolour, acrylics etc) and this class focuses on building the visual art skills that the participants come to class with. We want to work with these creative teens to build on the skills that they most enjoy - so while students will be asked to try a bit of everything, we want to listen to our students and work on the projects and mediums that they are most excited by!

For those who continue with us until the end of the GSOTA school year in mid-May, the beautiful pieces created will be displayed at our GSOTA Year-End Gala, where parents and friends will be able to see all their impressive work displayed in a gallery setting!

We are offering Fall (301), Winter (302) and Spring (303) sessions (each 8 weeks in length) for this class. You can sign up for all 3 sessions and improve upon your new skills, or you can sign up for any of the sessions individually.

**Important Dates to Note**

Fall Session: No class on Monday October 13th for Thanksgiving
Winter Session: No class on Monday February 16th for Family Day
Spring Session: No class on Monday March 16th for March Break OR Monday April 6th for Easter Monday

GSOTA Year-End Gala 2026

On Thursday May 14th at 6:00pm, we invite all our Spring Session students to gather with friends and family to display and present their works of art! There will be no admission fee, but a survey will be sent home close to the Gala date to gather an idea of how many people would like to attend. This event will start at 6:00pm sharp and will continue until 7:00pm-8:00pm. More details for this event will be sent to all students participating in the Spring Session.
